Just picked up my next project car for a german look super beetle. Original paint { except fenders } 74 super . Just got it home so I haven't had a chance to tear into it yet but very straight and solid California car. Plans are to add boxster S brakes front and back , turbo twist wheels and suspension mods to get it lower and stiffer . Hope to have it mobile this summer , just depends on the honey dew list .
Just received the new struts from topline , went with there maxx extreme set up . I think they are going to work good.

Looks very clean. Good luck on the project.
Pete
Looks like a great foundation John! But how come the '74 instead of the '72 you had already lined up for this project?
I won't be getting into my German Looker for a year or 2 yet....

Because stock sucks.
Had a change of heart with the flat windshield super . I too am not in a big hurry to really tear into this car but I think it is presentable enough to get it on the road without taking up all my spare time and money . I was planning on taking some time off for a while and then I stumbled onto this car . Had to do some serious sucking up to the wife .
looks like a very nice start to a very nice GL ;)
Chris..
Pulled off the struts while waiting for the new adjustables to arrive and had a pleasant surprise after I brought out the hose and a little degreaser . See pic's at top of post .
John
Looks super clean in there John. Nice score, as usual!
