Took full advantage of the weather yesterday, and got a lot done. Took the covers of the bug, gave her a wash,oil change,,little bit of shiny on the tires and off we go for a quick jont around the neighborhood,what a blast! Everyone turning heads,pointing, puching each other as I could read their lips"punch buggy,no punch backs" still makes me laugh to this day! Glad winter is almost over and the cruisin can begin.
Also did a front brake job on the TDI and washed it as well.

Alex (gonebuggy) came over and we figured out what was causing the '58 I just picked up not to run- the fuel pump had a pin come out of place so we fixed that up and got the 36 horse running again. I took it for a quick spin through all 4 gears to make sure it runs well and it does. Oh, and for most of the afternoon I worked on cleaning up the gardens around the house.... sometimes there are other priorities!!
