This is my first attempt at creating door panels. I designed the logo and used two layers of foam to create them with vinyl on top. Thought you'd like to see Greg. Sorry for the bad picture.

looks good

Nice job Marc. Are you going to fasten the door pulls to anything but the panel? I assume you will use the standard clips to secure the panel to the door and not my velcro method. Make sure you post some pics of the panel on the door!

Well...as of now the handles are just in the panel. The screws were only about 3/16 long. I have an idea on how to mount them without using the regular clips.....but I'm not sure it will work. The velcro was a good Idea, but 2" would be better and a secure method of getting it to stay put on the metal has to be figured out.

I think I am going to attempt the air ride this weekend.

Vtech, I used 3/8'' thick high density foam. I got it from a guy who uses it for padding inside shoulder straps on backpacks. Comes in a large roll. The flame design was cut out of under padding you would use under laminate floors. It is called Shaw 3n1 Silent step. It is a closed cell construction...basically the same as the 3/8" only it is an 1/8" thick. Perfect for stretching material over.
